Optic Fusion is pleased to announce that we recently expanded our Perkins Building data center. We added an additional row of cabinets, which will allow us to serve many new clients. With these new cabinets, we can offer our customers both 110V and 208V power.
Bitcoin is gaining popularity and Optic Fusion, Inc. is excited to be on the leading edge of virtual currency acceptance. We have a lot of new and existing customers ask questions about Bitcoin, and the one that keeps coming up is when are we going to start accepting them? Well, that time is now!
Since 2001 Optic Fusion has provided carrier-class colocation and network connectivity to the Tacoma and South Puget Sound regions. As a small business we like to support our local business neighbors. There are a bevy of reasons one should support independent, locally owned businesses, rather than nationally owned business for example several studies have shown that when purchasing from an independent, locally owned business significantly more of your money in used to make purchases from other local businesses which in turn supports the growth of the local economy.
Optic Fusion has recently decided to support EverGreen Options the green power program offered by Tacoma Power. Green power is electricity generated from renewable, non-polluting resources such as wind and solar power. Tacoma Power urges individuals and companies to purchase and support green power in order to build a better climate and environment.
As the lead collocation data center in Tacoma we like to give back to our surrounding community with time, money and services. Many of the members of our staff have dedicated their time to serving the Tacoma community. Optic Fusion loves to give back to their major supporters by donating hams to St. Leos food bank during the Holiday season or providing discounted services to local non-profits. As well as donating hams to the local food bank the colocation company is a sponsor at the yearly auction at Bellarmine Preparatory School here in Tacoma.
